Outdoor adventure holidays for teenagers
Teenhols is a conference with the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul in Ireland are organised by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Ireland. Eveery summer Teenhols runs 7-8 outdoor adventure holidays during the months of July and August. The holidays last for 5 days and on each week up to 30 teenagers are invited down to either Birr or Baltinglass Outdoor Education Centres for a week of canoeing, rock climbing, horse riding, swimming, archery, etc.Teenhols is open to girls and boys aged between 13-15 years old, these deserving teenagers are from all over the greater Dublin area. A week with Teenhols is extremely rewarding for both volunteers and guests; waving goodbye to the teenagers as they return home is frequently sad, but leaves you with a sense of satisfaction. |
